LIABILITY & SAFE USE POLICY

Wolverine Defense Systems (“WDS Holsters”) designs holsters for specified firearms, accessories and carrying configurations. Firearms and firearm accessories carry inherent risks of serious injury or death. Every user is responsible for lawful possession and safe handling, receiving appropriate training, observing firearm and accessory manufacturers’ instructions and complying with applicable law.

1. Intended Use and Compatibility

Products are intended only for the firearm, weapon light, attachments and configuration identified in the order or expressly confirmed by WDS Holsters. Before use, customers must verify fit, retention, adequate trigger-guard coverage, mounting security and unobstructed operation. Do not use an incompatible firearm or accessory, place an improperly fitted firearm into a holster, or continue using a holster that appears unsafe. Stop using the product immediately and contact us if fit, retention, mounting or safety is in doubt. WDS Holsters remains responsible for supplying the product ordered and for any defect for which it is legally liable.

2. Safe Handling and User Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WDS Holsters is not responsible for injury, death, property damage or other losses caused by a user’s negligent, reckless, unlawful or unintended use of a product. Examples include using the wrong firearm or light; improper mounting or adjustment; unsafe drawing, reholstering or firearm handling; negligent discharge; ignoring apparent damage, excessive wear or loose hardware; improper maintenance; or use beyond the product’s intended design and stated limitations. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive.

3. Modifications and Third-Party Equipment

Users are responsible for ensuring that any repair, adjustment, alteration, aftermarket accessory or third-party attachment is suitable and safely installed. To the extent permitted by law, WDS Holsters disclaims responsibility for harm caused by improper modifications, incompatible components or third-party workmanship. This exclusion does not automatically eliminate responsibility for an unrelated manufacturing defect or another matter for which WDS Holsters is legally responsible.

4. Criminal and Unlawful Conduct

WDS Holsters products are intended exclusively for lawful purposes. WDS Holsters does not authorize, encourage, endorse or assume responsibility for criminal, unlawful or intentionally harmful conduct involving its products. Individuals committing unlawful acts are responsible for their conduct and its consequences, subject to any liability imposed on WDS Holsters by applicable law.

5. Proper Use and Inspection

“Proper use” means use consistent with the product’s intended purpose, confirmed compatibility, supplied instructions, applicable safety requirements and reasonable care. Users should routinely inspect holsters for cracks, deformation, wear, loosened fasteners, compromised retention and other conditions affecting safety. A suspected defective or unsafe product must be removed from service until the concern is resolved. WDS Holsters may evaluate whether a specific claim involves misuse based on available facts, product specifications and applicable law; its internal determination does not override statutory rights or a court’s authority.

6. Liability Limits and Unforeseen Circumstances

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WDS Holsters disclaims indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from product misuse or circumstances for which it is not legally responsible. The examples above do not exhaust the foreseeable or unforeseen ways a product may be used or misused. Nothing in this policy excludes liability for a defective product, WDS Holsters’ own negligence, gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.

TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

WDS Holsters warrants its holsters against defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use for two years from the original purchase date. This limited warranty is offered by Wolverine Defense Systems to the original retail purchaser of an eligible product bought directly from WDS Holsters or an authorized seller, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

1. Covered Defects

Coverage includes verified defects such as premature cracking attributable to a materials or manufacturing defect, faulty assembly, and defects in supplied mounting hardware that arise during normal, intended use. A product failure is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.

2. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover problems caused by intentional damage (including deliberate cutting, burning, crushing or destruction); accidental damage (including drops, impacts, crushing or vehicle accidents), except where a covered defect caused the failure; negligence or misuse; incompatible firearm or accessory combinations; improper mounting, adjustment or maintenance; chemical exposure; excessive heat; unsuitable storage; loss or theft; cosmetic damage and ordinary wear; or damage caused by improper repairs, alterations or incompatible aftermarket parts. Altering a product or using an aftermarket accessory does not automatically void unrelated coverage: only the defect or damage caused by the alteration or accessory may be excluded.

3. Warranty Remedies

For a verified covered defect, WDS Holsters will repair or replace the product without charge. If repair or replacement is not reasonably available, WDS Holsters may offer a refund of the original purchase price or provide another remedy required by applicable law. If an original model, color, pattern or component is discontinued, a substantially equivalent replacement may be provided. A repaired or replacement item is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or any longer period required by law.

4. Making a Claim

Email wolverinedefensesystems@gmail.com with your order number or proof of purchase, a description of the problem and clear photographs. WDS Holsters may reasonably request additional information or inspect the item to determine the cause of failure. Contact us for return instructions before shipping. Never send firearms, ammunition or hazardous materials with a warranty return. WDS Holsters will provide return instructions and disclose any potential shipping costs before a return is required.

5. Shipping and Denied Claims

For an approved warranty claim, covered repair or replacement is provided at no charge and WDS Holsters will pay reasonable standard shipping costs associated with warranty service, including reimbursing reasonable standard customer-paid return postage when appropriate. For a denied claim, WDS Holsters will explain its decision and request the customer’s approval before performing any chargeable repair or arranging return shipment at the customer’s expense. No chargeable service will be undertaken without consent.

6. Fraud and Misrepresentation

WDS Holsters may investigate and deny claims supported by materially falsified purchase information, fabricated defects, intentionally altered evidence, substituted products or deliberate damage presented as a manufacturing failure. A good-faith unsuccessful claim, accidental product failure, or an independent repair does not itself establish fraud or void unrelated coverage.

7. Additional Legal Rights

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing here disclaims implied warranties or restricts remedies where prohibited by applicable law. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights remain in effect.
